Igs format

Hello All,

In a part file, I have many surfaces (created using blend from file). What I am doing next is to copy outer edges of surfaces. I need only these outer edges into iges file, not surfaces.

During save as igs file, I am selecting option as wireframe with edges. This igs file contains two layers. One of curves (edges selected as outer edges) and two of surfaces. This curve layer only sholud be present into igs file is what I need.

Any suggestion on this?

Many Thanks

Ketan

Hello Ketan Lalcheta

try to HIDE everything what you don´t need export (maybe save layer status for later use). Then export model to iges.

Hello Milan,

In model, 5 to 6 surfaces are there created using blend from file. Outer edges of these surface I will use to define publish geometry feature in same part model.

Now, this publish geometry I need in igs file. So, I will hide all layers except that having publish geometry feature. What option I should select while exporting to igs in order to have only publish geometry, not surfaces.
