Importing STEP files with high feature counts and getting errors

We are importing components that have a high feature countand it seems some of the smaller features (mostly extruded text) seems to be failing. Are there any settings I can adjust in creo before import to help resolve this issue?

Another issue is threads on components extend past the end of the fastener/connector causing it to fail to solidify. Any ideas on how to clean this up on import?

IDD (Import Data Doctor) is the tool to work in imported geometry.

For the smaller features you might want to try using an absolute accuracy instead of relative accuracy.
