Is there a way to make a skeleton transparent?

Currently, my skeleton is only transparent when I have it activated. If I activate other parts inside the skeleton, it becomes opaque and I have to blindly click until I find the surfaces I would like to reference. Any thoughts?

Hi,

open skeleton part in separate window, define new color with transparency enabled and assign the color to skeleton part geometry.
