I would like to hear from people that are already using PRO|E or CREO for really large assemblies, like mining structures which includes conveyor, cranes, etc... Those components are really huge and probably needs special care about planning and management of data.
Any input will be appreciated,
EFX is really an option?
Top Down Design worth it?
How troublesome is change management for huge changes and replaces?
Generating the delivarables in 2D is probably a issue, the majority of the customers in this markets requests the project output in AUTOCAD specific format about colors, layers, etc.
The majority of companies in this market today still works in AUTOCAD, which are the benefits and drawbacks of substituting it with CREO?
Sorry about my english and thank you!

I forgot to mention that I did a power search in PTC/User and found a lot of large assembly posts, still reading them all, but I would like to receive more input if possible.
Thank you,
