Mirror feature does not update

My mirror features in my sheet metal is not updating when I move my cutout in the sketcher. I noticed that there are plenty of threads mentioning mirrors not working, but what is the solution? is there a config file line that I am missing?

Assuming you are asking about mirrored features.

In some instances, simply redefining the features will force them to update after modifying a parent. You can try this by selecting the feature and then edit definition (CTRL+E) and then select the green check to complete the feature.

The fact is that the mirror feature is not completely dependent. This can be seen by looking at what is written in the Options tab of the mirror feature.

Therefore, if, for example, you redefine the miter cuts in the original feature, the miter cuts will not change in the mirror copy.

I cannot seem to select the Fully dependant radio toggle button.  [I'm still on 8.0]

When I click the Reapply Mirror button (after editing the original feature), I'm getting a "Section regeneration failed.  Incompatible dimension values." error message.

*EDIT: ha, once I hit Reapply Mirror, I had to right-click the failed mirrored features in the References tab, hit Fix, and Edit... the original sketch, and update an outdated silhouette edge reference.
