NX to Creo 3.0 with feature tree

Hi all,

Does any one knows if there is any module/application that allows to import (on Creo 3.0) an NX model with construction tree that allows to manipulate the NX file as a Creo 3.0 file?

Please notice that I do not need to export a file from Creo 3.0 to NX, I just need to import it.

Thanks

Regards

Native import of NX files to Creo 3.0 won't give you features tree, you'll get just geometry (like from the STEP files, but without need for them) and I don't think PTC will try to change that. Have you tried editing imported model with Flexible Modeling extension (which has been incorporated to base package of Creo 3.0)? Depending on geometry it can really ease making changes to non-parametric model.

Martin,

I will.

Thanks

Hi Martin,

I've received a brochure from Theorem Solutions, and there is a issue. they tell:

Prerequisites

Access to a licensed version of both Creo and NX is required for

operation

The problem is that I have no license for NX, but I've some costumers that have it, so when they send me a file they have to send it as a STEP file and change parts without a construction tree is really a pain.

Luis,

when anybody uses CAD system "A" and cooperates with partner using CAD system "B", then the best solution always is ... to buy and use CAD system "B" .

although full support won't be available for some time, until M020-M030 if i remember correctly.

also see this thread:

expect m020 to be late though, as is m010.
