Non-printable notes on drawing

I want the drawing to display drawing instruction notes but not have the notesprint.

Co-worker said that I could add the notes to a layer and set the layer to not print. He didn't know how to do it but said he has seen others do it.

Anyone know how to do it?

I know how to use layers, I just don't know how to make a layer non-printable.

I believe that you can set the notes to a pen that is not in your
pentable. Then it won't print....



I was messing around with pentables back in WF1 or 2 and seem to
remember running across this.

Not necessarily important, but some types of plot files will retain the
text in a way that can be recovered.
