Open part file using trail

Hello All,

Below is content to open a part file by running trail file:

!trail file version No. 1600

!Creo  TM  2.0  (c) 2016 by PTC Inc.  All Rights Reserved.

~ Select `main_dlg_cur` `appl_casc`

~ Close `main_dlg_cur` `appl_casc`

~ Command `ProCmdModelOpen` < 2 0.118519 178 0 0 100 1920 0 0 1080 13

~ Trail `UI Desktop` `UI Desktop` `DLG_PREVIEW_POST` `file_open`

~ Update `file_open` `Inputname` `C:\\Users\\KEVLA\\Desktop\\Ketan`

~ Command `ProFileSelPushOpen@context_dlg_open_cmd`

~ Select `file_open` `Ph_list.Filelist` 1 `partwid3curve.prt`

~ Trail `UI Desktop` `UI Desktop` `PREVIEW_POPUP_TIMER` `file_open:Ph_list.Filelist:<NULL>`

~ Command `ProFileSelPushOpen@context_dlg_open_cmd`

I am not able to understand below things in above content, rest all are either fixed or having name details.

  • < 2 0.118519 178 0 0 100 1920 0 0 1080 13

What does above means? I observed that 1920 and 1080 changes quite frequently.

Any suggestion on this will be of great help.

Thanks a lot in advance!

Regards

Ketan

I came to know. That line itself is not required.

Hi Ketan,

Yes, you are correct.  The line is not required.  It is data that can be ignore and is not required in order for the trail file to run successfully.

In Tech Support, when I create trail files for R&D, to replicate an issue, I edit the trail file and delete any line that starts with <.
