@How to apply thickness to imported surface model (stl, obj or any format) and make it solid for 3D printing in creo 3.0 Parametric? Help! here is a step file.@@
I did following things to generate step file:
1. edited stl. file in meshmixer, closed holes, repaired and exported stl. to meshlab
2. reduced number of meshes through quadradic decimation and reduced file size in mesh lab and exported stl. to freeCAD software
3. analysed the mesh and converted it into part in freeCAD and then exported STEP file for use in Creo 3.0
4. Now, I am confused what to do!!
Suggest me!
Task:
model the shape to be 3d printed that fits on hand, apply thickness of around 5-7 mm. Length of model should be 200mm and width be 60mm
Cheers!
cant see any geometry in that stepfile.
