I was wondering if Creo can create a surface from a point cloud?

Yes it can. We can create curve from cloud of points, than use that to create a surface. It would be nice to have "reverse engineering extahcion" - it does it straght from the cloud of pnts

I believe they do have a reverse engineering module. If I remember correctly, they partnered with Geomagic to bring some of its functionality into Creo, but it's a very expensive module. In fact, as a past heavy user of Geomagic Studio, I'd just use that instead, but again, it's an expensive option.
