Have you looked into CT Scanning?

We use CT Scanning to qualify practically every mold we build; scanning parts for FAI, molding process development etc.
There are no concerns that I am aware of in regards to pockets or buried features etc. as the CT Scanning sees accurately right through the plastic part, to all features, and to within microns.
The only limitation you might have is part size, not sure if ProScan can scan a part this size.
Visent at 3d ProScan (1-978-365-8164) will set you up.
