Dear Sir,
I have problem to create outer design of dish. By using trajpar relation sd=5*sin(3600*trajpar)+sd,
but didn't get required design so please help suggest the proper relation formula.
Please anyone give me urgent solution.
What is the value of SD?
Sorry, that's a trick answer... you have a circular argument.
You are defining SD and you are using SD in the right side.
The community was getting re-arranged so new messages were getting pushed far off the most recent.
That seems to be done with for now.
Typically sd is followed by a number to tell which dimension it refers to.
Yes of course 🙂 I was reading it literally. As in "sd" as a variable not the symbolic name of an exiting dimension.
And how do we solve the circular argument?
Here's what I would expect
sd4= 5*sd5
Here's what I would not expect
sd = 5*sd
Knowing the value of sd is garbage in the second example.
but sir twisting fillet does not formed in dish by using given relation.
Nil, we are talking through each other on semantics only.
The problem is that you cannot have an equation as you first presented it.
SD cannot equal SD + something else.
So therefore, there is an SD1 and an SD2 for lack of current symbol names.
So you original statement must read:
SD1=5*sin(3600*trajpar)+SD2
and if we take the value you provided as SD2: 29.4, we can now solve for SD1.
Trajpar is simply a value progressing linearly from zero to one.
Trajpar at zero, the output value for SD1 will be 29.4
Trajpar at one, the output value for SD1 will be 29.4
Which is exactly what it should be for a circular sweep feature.
Now we also do not know how you are using the formula, other than the fact that it must be a sweep.
If we can get past this set, we can move forward.
Thank u sir..
That is correct result.
Your required shape reminds me of this discussion:
If you patiently follow all the links, I think you can learn a lot about advanced sweep section relations using trajpar parameter.
ohkk sir..
