In Creo 3 there is finally a built in library of parts. It is a Lite Version of Intelligent Fastener Extention.

As it seems to not play well with Windchill. But if you don't need that, then it should work fine.

There are many web sites that let you download hardware files. There are some 3rd party links in the Creo browser also. There are also a few libraries posted in this forum. I prefer to create my own for consistency.

In Creo 3.0 M020 we have extended the allowable out of the box parameters to include additional Windchill and Model check parameters.

I hope this will go some way to improving the integration of the free version of IFX with Windchill.

The additonal parameters are as follows
