Screws and other standard parts in general

Hello everyone, in our company we have a separate catalogue for standard parts like screws etc. Most of them are generated with Family tables (Example: M10 Screw --> Family Table for all different lengths). If we want to insert for example screws, we must download them manually from the server.

Is there a possibility to have those tables directly implemented in Creo, like the Tables for the threads? Btw we don't use Windchill.

Do you use a similar system for standard parts or something different?

Have a nice day

What do you use to manage your product defining data?

We use Teamcentre but have PDMLink to manage our CREO data. Our component models are stored in a library folder.

Teamcentre will be replaced by Windchill by the end of 2021 but we will still have a two tier system (not my choice).

While PDMLink is a bit of a sledgehammer to a walnut in our context it is a very good data management tool and allows concurrent working.
