Scroll Wheel zoom for assembly

In a part, the scroll wheel zooms in/out using the mouse pointer location as the centerpoint.  For assemblies, it ignores the pointer location and just zooms in to the center of the assembly, so then I have to pan over to what I want to focus on.  Is there a setting for this?  Thanks!

What version of Creo are you using?

While using Creo 4.0, I cannot replicate the the zoom functionality that you are seeing. Both parts & assemblies zoom within relation to the tip of the mouse.
