Hello everyone!
Is there a way for select only a portion on a line?
For example I want to select one portion of the line with one style and another portion of the same line with a different style.
For now i can only select the whole line. In the screenshot i want the part in violet to be a different style from the green one part. Creo allow me to only select the whole line.
I found this Advanced Selection Functions but i can't find this menu, can you please tell me how i can activate it?
As always thank you
Hi,
line in drawing corresponds with edge in model. Therefore you cannot select only part of this edge.
If you want to set color & width of lines then you have to sketch lines in drawing and relate them to view.
If you want to set color of lines then you can create Sketch features in model.
Thank you for the answer.
Can i ask you one thing. If i create a line in the model or a sketch releated to the wiev, will the sketch be over the "older" line? If a make a dashed line the one under it, will be still visible. Is there a way to hide those and see only the line that i did and not from the model?

Hi,
you can use Edge Display command. Use Erase Line option.

Hi,
I do not understand your intent. Please can you explain why you want to do described "things" ?
Hey Martin!
I sketch a line over another line, if i use a dashed one, the other one will still be visible.
I need this because i want the lines to be different from each other in the final drawing, for different purpose of manufacturing.

Hi,
try Edge Display command mentioned in my previous Reply.
The link you found is related to Creo Elements Direct. It is a different software from Creo Parametric.
Oh my bad! Thank you
