When dimensions are shown using "Show Model Annotations" the endpoints to the witness lines may or may not be spaced correctly from the geometry. When done incorrectly it is as if the dimension were created say above the part, but then dragged down below the part and the witness lines overlap the goemetry. Does anyone have a solution to make the witness lines show per drafting standards without dragging the ends of the lines to their correct position?
The pic on the left is what I get and the pick on the right is what I want. For the right pic I moved the lines manually.
I just learned what "clip witness lines" can do. For now this is my best solution.
How do you do it?
I use driven dimensions as much as I can.
