Showing Annotations in Assembly Drawing

In CREO 5;

How do you show annotations (e.g. axes) by drawing view for one component in an assembly?  There is a right-click option in the model tree to show dimensions by drawing view, but not annotations.  Thanks.

Hi,

  • open drawing
  • under drawing tree you can see model tree
  • in model tree select component
  • click RMB and select Show Model Annotations command
  • in Show Model Annotations dialog box select the last tab
  • select axis to show

This shows axes in all drawing views, not just the desired drawing view.

Hi,

I tested your problem in CR5.0.5.0. I am able to display axis in single view.

Hi,

I recommend setting the following config option. It makes showing annotations a lot easier. You don't have to select a component to show annotations. You can select the assembly and choose what to show for the components. Video attached.
