Shrinkwrap with planes

Hello dear members, I am trying to save my assembly as part and for that I am using Shrinkwrap from 'Save a copy' command. I also want datum planes to be present in Shrinkwrap part. For that I am using Datum reference in shrinkwrap dialogue. But when I open the Shrinkwrap part  the datum planes are appearing as Copy geometry feature and I cant utlize that plane for further design such as Sketching on that plane or creating another plane with reference to that. Any help on that?

Without seeing the models it is hard to say for certain but you should be able to reference the datums that are included in the copy geometry feature. Be wary of creating circular references while referencing these though. The datums when visible in the geometry window can be selected and used as a reference or sketch plane. If you find this is not the case, post the model here for review.

You need to keep datum planes as part of a shrinkwrap. There is a need to clarify how your shrinkwrap is created.
Can you attach a model to the thread even a dumb one to demonstrate your request?

Thanks to it all ambiguities can be cleared out.
