Sweep trajectory length dimension in drawing

I am modelling a cable but don't have any of the routed systems options and so am using a sweep that uses a trajectory made up from a combination of sketched curves, and datum curves through points. How I can show the total curve length in the drawing?

Is creating an analysis feature and defining a parameter the only way?

To my knowledge, yes.  If it was planar, in the sketch you could use a perimeter dimension.

Oh, and here's an idea:  If possible, it could be a curve WRAPPED onto a surface, where, in the sketch, you use a perimeter dimension.  This would make the trajectory directly modifiable, AND prevent needing to use a parameter which is a result of the geometry, not driving it.  Saving one feature and adding flexibility.  Obviously without seeing the geometry I can't tell if the wrap would work, but I've done exactly this before and thought I'd mention it.

Best of luck!
