TOLERANCE TABLE

I was asked this question by a co-worker and we don't know

It is set to "general" and we can not modify the tolerances, we switched it
to "none" and we can. Is there a config.pro or XXXX.dtl file setting we
looked and could not find one.

still silence from PTC side...

probably thousands of users will be changing tolerance table to "none" manually forever...I admit Creo4 did progress on tolerances but this behavior is still there.

Really no config.pro option?

I do... and probably forever, yes.

These should be hidden in hole tables.

Meaning if you have a different standard than -The- standard provided by PTC (yep, said in one mouthful!),

...you can make the changes there and use your specific defaults instead.

I think the system works as intended.  I suspect your start part is defined for using ISO tolerance class (Fine, medium, coarse, etc).  Change it to use the ANSI standard and you will not have the issue...  (via model properties):
