The image attached is a surface that I would like to perform a flatten quilt on. It has been too long since I had that advanced assembly & modeling class. There are no corners of the part all have been rounded. How would you go about doing this?

1. Place a point onto the surface. I sometimes create a point at the intersection of the surface and two datum planes. The point MUST be on the surface. 2. Use the advanced option under the insert menu and you will find "flatten quilt" 3. Select the quilt and then the point. Accept the default settings for now. 4. The quilt will flatten but will most likely NOT be on any specific plane. 5. You can create a datum plane through the new flat quilt if you wish.
