Title Block question

I have a format made and use it everyday, but for a multi-sheet drawing is there anyway when you create page two you do not have to input repeating blocks. For example I do not want to create formats for all the companies we deal with, but would like to somehow fill out page one of the drawing and then on page two have the company the drawing is for not have to be typed again and again for every page. In other words the company name will be constant on every page and it gets old repeating several blocks on every page that would be made easier by just have the drawing figure out that its the same on every page.

Hi Matt, welcome to the forum.

It sounds like what you want to do is create a parameter in either the model or the drawing called something like company_name and show it on the drawing format.

You can add the the parameter to the format by prefixing the parameter name with an ampersand (ie &company_name) wherever you want to see it in the title block. Then you can set the parameter value when you create the drawing and it will populate throughout the various sheets of the drawing.

I hope this helps.
