Hey all,
I want to develop a 3rd party plugin for Creo 3.0 parametric (I've an academic version M070) which works in assembly mode, to do DMU (Digital mockup) check, in basic terms, it should detect hole mismatches say like if a bolt doesn't fit on a nut (or) if they overlap then the plugin should give an alert/report.
1. To achieve this do I need TOOLKIT or Jlink is sufficent? Because I read few other questions in forums and people told like, jlink can do only basic fundas.
2. I don't find TOOLKIT/Object TOOLKIT when I run <ptc status> deep inside Creo Load point. Now, do I need to buy TOOLKIT and its liecense (or) just the liecence (or) wheather both of it come with the academic package and I missed to install it while installing Creo?
Suppose if I need to buy then how much does it exactly cost? Few have put it as $10,000, google says its $2200.
3. Whats the difference between M040 and M070 of Creo 3.0 parametric?
