Transfer a Table

Is it possible to transfer or copy a table from one drawing to another (not sheet-to-sheet)?  Thanks in advance.

With a little more research, I found out that you can save a Drawing Table (.tbl) and open it back up in a different drawing.  But I could not find a way to copy-and-paste it from one drawing to another.  So saving the Drawing Table is all I really needed, same as transferring it.  The save table icon will not activate until the table has been selected.
