True type fonts in drawings?

Hi Folks,
The internal PDF creator (WF5) has a setting to convert to TT fonts but I
would rather use a TT font in the first place in the drawing for WSYWIG PDF
creation.

We have been using ISOFONT previously and using stroked fonts when making
PDFs.

I have experimented with ARIAL but this gives very dark text in the
drawing. ARIAL NARROW is a little lighter but still dark.

Do people have standard TT fonts they are using?

This is emphasised by contrast to the line weights which we are looking to
reduce for clarity.

There is also a ASME font out there but you have to install it on each
Windows client and I do not know if it is free.
