Hello
I have a swept blend for a rectangular wing made up of many airfoil sections. There is a sharp span-wise gradient close to the wingtip ( similar to a winglet design ) where creases or folds keep on occuring. I tried modifying the underlying trajectory but that only makes matters worse.
Can you please suggest an alternative to fix this problem ?
Thank you
It is probably because the curvature is too high (radius is too small) at the bend for the thickness of the airfoil.
If you put the trajectory to the inside of the bend (above the airfoil section) the more easily you will control the smoothness of the transition.
