Unwrap text

Unwrap text

In ProE(WF5.0)/Creo, in drawing mode, while using tables, if you right click, one of the drop down items is wrap text. If you meant to have text style or height, how do you "unwrap" text.

Thanks,

Dale

Hi Dale,

This wasn't added until Creo Parametric. If a cell's text is accidentally wrapped in Pro/ENGINEER, it can only be unwrapped by editing the text and deleting the carriage returns that were created by the Wrap command.

In Creo 2.0, you get two options... since it is a selectable cell attribute, you unselect it.

You can do this in the height/width dialog, or in the RMB popup menu.

Not sure where they would hide this in WF5 Elements Pro.

Does wrap text happen only once in a cell? (i.e. if the text is longer than the cell and you go in and wrap text, it manually adds "carriage" returns to the text, but if the text in the cell is short enough, nothing happens?)

Or is it a format that when text is later added to the cell that is longer than the cell is wide, it will automatically wrap text?

Thanks, Dale
