Using FID to place a component in Smart Assembly

Does anyone know what the syntax is for placing an assembly component in Creo using Sigmaxim Smart Assembly?

I have used GID to attach the information.

No, it did not. After getting a call into Sigmaxim, they took me in a different path.  I am far from being an expert on this but, what are you trying to do?
