Volume Milling - Controlling the start and stop location
Hi All....need a refresher here....been a long time since I've done this stuff.
We're trying to create a volume milling sequence to machine a pocket. The tool plunges down the center of the pocket (which is good) and then immediately moves to a corner of the pocket (bad)instead of to the flat sidewall of the pocket. We can't seem to figure out how to change this to control the motion from just after the plunge to the side wall of the part. What are we missing here?
We're on WF3 and also....for reference....we're using the volume milling since this sequence allows us to slow down the tool in the corners.
Any help would be appreciated.

Make sure the volume mill parameter scan_type is not set to pocket. set to spiral
