When would it be possible to load .sldprt / .sldasm / .x_t out of SWX 2016?

At the Moment it's only possible to read SWX2015.

Also it isn't possible to load .x_t also they are generated with Parasolid-Version 24. Non-supported System.

Changing the Header to one out of SWX2014, it ist possible to read in.

The source-System cannot be the only identifier to allow or block an Import.

There must be a Change to supported Parasolid-Version without checking the source-System. There are a lot of Systems which can generate Parasolid-Data (p.e. CAM-Systems)(x_t) but

you can only load the once you have a Interface bought. and this are only 4 systems

SWX, SolidEdge, UG and I-DEAS

I hope there is coming up soon an M060 for 19.0 which Supports the new (1 year old) Version of SWX

Hi,

my suggestion is: contact PTC Support and ask them when Creo Elements/Direct will be able to open Solidworks 2016 models.

BTW, Creo Parametric 3.0 M100 is able to open Solidworks 2016 models.

I asked the Support and got the answer. It would be available with DirectModeling 20 in Spring 2017.

This answer is not acceptible
