Now you feel our pain. Told everyone I can to stop @ WF4. WF5 is so inefficient for drawing mode it's not even funny. BTW, you can push the ALT key and then you can pick many items like you used to even if you are not in the "correct ribbon/tab". Sort of a work-around I guess.

While most of our drawings are 3D based we still do a good bit of 2D
when laying out cables or hydraulic hose connection diagrams.
2D In Pro/E has always been painful but in WF4 and before, users could
seamlessly switch between editing 2d geometry elements and
text properties. So if you were moving a line or imported 2D symbol that
contained text and happened to notice that the text was wrong or that a
nearby table needed editing you could just select the item and right
click to edit properties.
In WF5 I find that the new ribbon menu structure requires that I select
"Annotate" if I want to edit text or table contents and "Sketch" to edit
line properties. Right click only offers a "properties" option if the
correct ribbon topic selection is picked.
Is there a config setting to work around this? Why would PTC add more
mouse clicks when for years they have been trying to reduce them?
