Wire Spool

I created a wire spool. I routed a wire using the spool. When I go to edit the spool, save is greyed out. It's new, so its not a permission thing-I think? I go to add and remove columns and I can't save it. What's up?

Hi, 

when you add/remove columns you just change the appearance of the dialog and not you don't any change to the spool - there is nothing to save ....

I am able to ADD columns and they stay. I can't REMOVE columns, even if I just added them. I've never seen this type of behavior. I don't use cabling much though. 

I have another question:

I have color_code and color in columns and it does not change my model. That's basically what I am tring to accomplish.

can elaborate which version of Creo you are using ?

I had to create a color, such as white in my appearance manager and it correlates to the spool color.
