can we have the same model multiple times in your interchange assembly?

Hello Pro/E gurus

Good Day!!

I am using Pro/E Wildfire 3.0.

ProE does not allow me to insert multiple instances of the same part intoan interchange assembly.

For example: Oil and refrigerant copper tubing lines between 440E and 5000 motors will share the same copper elbows, tees and flanges.

It is impossible to insert the same elbow or tee more than once - " the model already exists in the interchange assembly" error message is displayed.

Is itPro/E limiationproblem. Kindly help me that how can i use the same model again and again in interchange assemblies.

Thanks Much

You can't. The only option is to create a unique sub-assembly with the
elbows, tees, and flanges required for the motors, and use this in the
interchange assembly.

This is how the function should work.

It seems you may have the problems turned around.

If you have the same tubing, etc... routed to different motors, use this
tubing assembly once. Put all of the unique motors in the interchange
assembly and then the tubing will mate to the different motors as long
as the mate references are called out.
