create twist along a sweep / extrude

Hi,

i have a profile like i have in the image.

i need to twist the profile fro 2 rotations , (360*2) along the path for 100 mm ..

can any one suggest an easy way to do this...

Blend is one option, but when i tried i could not rotate more than 360deg (one rotation) ..

kindly help if possible

Thanks in advance..

There are a few ways this could be achieved. By relation using trapar or using 'Warp' feature with twist. I have attached a basic model showing technique. Good luck!

Hi,

Thank you for the model, it was helpful.

however i thick sweep using relation would give perfect results than warp.

i tried to form a relation with the angle and trajpar, but i couldn't get the desired result.

if possible, can you help me with a relation.,..,?

Thanks for your help .. .

Blend could work if you add intermediate sections...added an example part.

hey, thanks for the model..

however i could not open it , i get 'EXAMPLE' cannot be retrieved.

there are more than 1 ways to achieve ..i am just looking for a simpler one..

and i think model shared by John is bit simpler than using blend and multiple sketches.

Thanks for your time and effort .....
