definition of relations in Assemblies

I am using Creo Parametric Release 10.0 and Datecode10.0.5.0

HI, the question came up, if there are any downsides, when i define my assembly-relations with driven-dimensions (eg. 3D-Annotations) instead of the dimensions of the component (driving dimensions).

Hi,

in my opinion, it is not possible to give a clear answer. It always depends on what the given relations are driving and how complicated they are.

Hi @FZimmermann

I would echo with Martin as there is no direct yes or no answer. If there is any specific use case, share that here for clerification.

Thanks.
