full unfold section view in drawing

I have created an offset cross section and would like to display a full
unfold section view in the drawing. I no longer know how to do that
since I am using Wildfire 2 instead of a pre-Wildfire version. I see a
grayed out selection for Full Unfold on the Sectioned Area column after
selecting Sections on the Drawing View window. But it doesn't do me any
good since it is gray. What am I supposed to do?

I basically have a flange with bolt holes straddling the centerline. I
want the bottom half of my section view to show a cross section of the
flange which doesn't include a bolt hole and the top half of the section
to include a bolt hole.

I am having the same issue in Wildfire 3.0 my unfold is greyed out also?

Bob and Robert,

Make sure there are not any projected views related tothe view you are trying to section and unfold. They will cause the unfold option to be grayed out. If you do have projected views off of your sectioned view, change them to general views, instead of projection. This should allow the unfold option. This applies to WF 3, and I would also assume WF 2, asRobert's description sounds the same. There may be another trick to do this, but changing projected views to general is the only way I know of.

You are the best, Inick. Thank you!

In WF4 creating the unfolded view as a General View allows it to be
unfolded no matter what. Arrow Display can be set on the views section
options.
