Hello, i use creo parametric for my academics works but generally i spend a lot of time with mechanisms designing, is there a tool to automatically generate pieces as gears, planetary systems, etc??
i have a student version but in my university is the professional version 3.0.
usually to save time, I build the gears in NX and exported in step

Hello julio pastor restrepo zapata,
if you want create own models try to get some inspiration from following links:
how to draw a parametric oval gear (and learn about parameters, relations and.. spinal bend)
How to Draw Involute Gears in Creo Parametric Involute Gear Tutorial - Part 1 - YouTube
But why to "invent wheel when someone else already done it?"

Unfortunately, there isn't. There is specific purpose software to design gears that do all the work necessary for good quality gear pairs and gear trains, unlike the rough approximations usually included in CAD packages.
A google search on "gears with creo" turns up a number of videos and web pages.
My favorite specialized for non-industrial gear software: http://www.gear2motion.com/

if you are satisfied with step, it would probably be quicker with Kisssoft.
I've something like this
Click Ctrl+G and use the program to change the gear 😛
