hiding connections

I have an assembly with mechanism constraints. I need to export some images. Is there a way to turn off the connections?

Try view shade

or

View - Display Settings - Mechanism Display
Here you should be able to toggle of the joint types you do not want to see

Go to application -> mechanism

there view-> display settings-> mechanism settings

or on tool bar on the righttopicon.

That did it. I didn't have the 'mechanism settings' menu till I changed
my application setting. Seems strange, I never had to set it to
mechanism to create those connections. I was looking for that menu
under display settings, but it wasn't there.
