how do i get black and white line drawing suitable for dimensioned drawings

how do i get black and white line drawing suitable for dimensioned drawings, instead of my actual colour shaded model being shown on the 2D drawing?

In the drawing view properties, select View Display and select the Display style you want.

If you don't want to have to do this every time, you can also define the default display style you want to use within the drawing setup file (.dtl).

thanks, i also forgot to refresh screen by clicking somewhere on the screen as i kept getting the same view every time i tried a different view.
