how to turn of IFX and AFX by editing the config.pro file

Dear Sirs,
I am using Creo Parametric Release 9.0 and Datecode9.0.0.0

I'm getting error "IFX failed to load" followed by "AFX failed to load" when launching Creo Parametric. I found on the online support the article CS332967 and tried to resolve the issue by turning off both extensions with config.pro options, but it did not work.
Can you please give me more detailed instructions to turn off these extensions by editing the correct config.pro file? Specifically, which config.pro file should I edit since there are multiple files in the Creo 9 directory?
