in IDD pro e shuts down when I use shift key

Hi all,

I'm trying to heal a model from UG. In IDD I'm trying to trim a detached surface, I select an adjacent edge and because I need a chain of edges I hold down the shift key. At this time the program closes! The work around so far is to exit IDD and copy the chain I need, then collapse this curve back in to the imported feature and use it for trimming back in IDD. (Way too much time)!

What's the problem? I've already healed the other half of the mold without too much difficulty.

I'm using WF 4 M150.

Thanks,

Jon

I'd made an assembly and mirrored some geometry from the other half of the tool. For some reason Pro didn't like this, why? Went back to were I left off yesterday and modeled the geometry from scratch.

Had another problem, after healing the block I couldn't get it to solidify, using the make solid box in feature properties. So to find the bad area I make an extrusion thru the block and merge it with the block, by moving the extrusion around I can narrow down the problem. Nothing worked. Changed the tolerance from .0002 to .0005 and it solidified in the feature properties box.

Hope this helps someone.

JW
