large "X"s on sections views [Creo 4.0 to Creo 9.0]

We recently upgraded from Creo 4.0 to Creo 9.0.  When I open older drawings that have section views or create new section views, I now see these big "X"s all over the drawing.  How do I get rid of them?

Just checking - these Xs are not datum points ?

I've been using this software for over 20 years.  I can't believe I never thought of that. 😳  You are 100% correct.  Always love a simple answer.
