sava as name(pdmrev).pdf

Hi gurus,

sorry for the intrusion,

I have already post this in the CAD area without success,

( and having a lot of request on how I did it. )

I need a procedure to export from a drawing,

A dwg and and a pdf file, with the format :

Name_revision.pdf

Name_revision.dwg

Where revision is the value of PDMREV

( 0 - 0a - 0b - 1 - 1a.etc )

Is it possible do that via macro ?

Do someone of you have already faced it ?

Thanks in advance

Hi all,

Daniele,

You could combine pdf or dwgoutput mapkey with parameter info mapkey and with 'OS Command' based mapkey. If you are outputing pdf file to the current working directoryyourOS script has to look for the latest modified file with the known extension (pdf for example). Yourparameter info mapkey would output file parameter.infto the current working directory -grep your parameter value out of it with our OS script and then rename pdf or dwg file with os command.

HIH.

Feliks.
