sheetmetal Bug or feature??

Hi everybody,

A colleague of mine is working in wildfire 2, creating simple but plenty of
sheetmetal parts and assemblies.
Sheetmetal thickesses varies from 1 to 5 to 6 mm. She is passing me all the
models to open them in wildfire 5.
I regenerate the model and
SURPRISE SURPRISE all the sheemetal thicknesses are modified to the default
SMT_THICKNESS values found in
my default sheetmetal template.

Attached you may find a small assembly with 2 different parts, if you want
to verify it

Is this a bug or a feature??

Best regards,

Hi Nikos,

It looks like those parts have a parameter called smt_thickness which is equal to 1. As of WF 4.0, a smt_thickness parameter can be used to drive the thickness of the part. So when you regenerate those parts, they regenerate with the updated smt_thickness value.
