CIRCLE changing to ARCDAT-ARCMOV now in .ACL file

Hello everyone,

Today I noticed some unusual code in a posted program. Upon closer
inspection, I see that 'CIRCLE' commands are no longer being kept as
'CIRCLE' commands after the translation from an '.NCL' file to an '.ACL'
file. They are now being converted to 'ARCDAT' and 'ARCMOV' commands.

I just performed a test where I reposted a job from last month with no
changes to anything (model not changed, same WF20/M150, same G-Post
version...) The ACL file is now translated differently.

I just logged a call with PTC on this, but can anyone explain to me what
is going on? Take a look at the following examples please;

Dave,

I checked with the developer of GPOST and this change should have no
effect on your posted output. This change is in appearance only. It
should not have any effect on the GPost tape output, as it does not use
the ACL file.

When "-trace" turned on then the ACL file is created for the user to
verify NCL data. They can plot the NCL with Austinnc Plot utility in
CimPRO stand alone mode or to see the CV binary as output to ACL.

This circle change was made at some of our users request, so our plotter
can draw circles. It only knows ARCDAT/ARCMOV commands.

Any change (if any) you see in the tape output may be due to some other
factor and not the ACL/circle change.

Regards

Francois Lamy
