ProMechanica problem - 'Detected degenerate boundary faces'

Hey guys,

Need help with my model http://img204.imageshack.us/img204/6682/3dmodel.jpg. Here is a picture of it.

The model has been solved successfully with no errors at all, and when I try to solve it again, it comes up with all these errors saying that certain nodes and surfaces have degenerate boundary surfaces. Nothing has been changed, and it still comes up with the errors. I tried googling this problem, but have nothing for it.

I need help on this ASAP!

Cheers

Jason

Jason,

Most likely it's related to a surface that is folded over it's self (possibly a round).
Using the diagnostic window you should be able to identify the surfaces or rounds that are giving you the problem by selecting them in the diagnostic window.
They should highlight the surface or round in the Pro/E window. Redefine the feature so it does not over lap it'self. The surface should have uniform color.

Hope this helps,
Don Anderson
