error in opening PTC cero files in proe 4.0

dear,

i have few prt and asm files made in PTC_Creo1.0 version. i want to open those files in proe 4.0. But by doing so i am getting an error that "<fille name> can not be retrieved". please tell me how can i open these files in proe 4.0

Creo files are not backward compatible. There is a tool called Granite that will help you.

It is easiest to import a STEP file if you can get the original file converted.
