Does anyone have a fix for Creo View not wanting to compare PDFs? I add the PDFs correctly and select them to compare but in the top right the loading wheel just spins and doesn't load anything.
Not with respect to comparing PDF's but on occassion creo view will glitch out and just spin and spin and never really load. I usually do a re-boot, just to clear out any system issues.
Another thing to try, to rule out data specific problems, check a different set of PDFs, if the problem only occurs on the original pdfs, it's something to do with the PDF itself, one or both.
Last one is to have a coworker try the files on their system, just to rule out a specific computer issue. If you don't have someone who can test, you can upload the files to the community for someone random to verify.
Unfortunately I've tried all these fixes. My IT department doesn't know what the problem is so I had to put in a ticket on PTC to get help but it's been months and never got a reply. Only other idea was posting something here. 😢
You need to either open a new support ticket on PTC esupport or get it elevated. No reason a support ticket would go longer than a day or so a weekend max to get a response.
Maybe you'll get lucky on here, but if you have support, you shouldn't have to wait that long.
