Add extend line function/button to sketcher to simplify extending line process and speed up sketch creation.
SW has very simple and easy to use extend line button.
Click the Extend Button, click on the line or curve you want to extend. Done! The line extends to the next line in sketcher. Click again and it extends to the next line again. How simple/quick and easy is that?
No need to identify and delete existing end point constraint, drag line, then reattach......Often it is hard to identify which constraint to delete and invariably select the wrong one first.
Works with straight lines, circular curves, ellipses, solid and construction lines.
If line/curve is constrained at the endpoint of another curve, when you extend the line/curve the existing endpoint constraint is maintained whilst a new one is automatically made at the new endpoint.
Which end of the line extends depends on which half of the line you click on. To extend the other end of the line, click on the other side of the midpoint.
